Nordix App ("we," "us," or "our") provides Nordix Lock as a paid application. This Privacy Policy informs users regarding our strict policies on the collection, usage, and safeguarding of Personal Information when using our Service.

1. Zero-Collection Principle

Nordix Lock is designed with strict on-device isolation. We do not collect, monitor, track, store, or transmit any personal data, app usage telemetry, launch history, or security PINs to external servers or third parties. All detection, verification, and blocking mechanisms operate 100% locally on your device.

2. Payments and Billing

Nordix Lock is a paid application distributed through the Google Play Store:

Payment Processing: All monetary transactions, licensing, and billing inquiries are processed directly through Google Play Billing.
No Financial Data Access: We do not receive, process, store, or have access to your credit card information, bank credentials, billing addresses, or payment authentication details. All payment data is handled exclusively under Google Play’s Privacy Policy.

3. Device Permissions & API Disclosure

To deliver automated app protection without polling delays or excessive battery consumption, Nordix Lock requests the following explicit permissions:

AccessibilityService API Usage:

Nordix Lock requires the use of the AccessibilityService API solely to determine when an application is opened on your device by listening for window state change events (TYPE_WINDOW_STATE_CHANGED).

Purpose: To instantly display the lock screen whenever a protected app enters the foreground.
Data Scope: The service reads only the active package identifier (e.g., com.example.app) in volatile memory to check against your protected apps list.
No Content Capture: We do not log, inspect, record, or transmit keystrokes, on-screen text, notifications, messages, media, or any other interactive user interface elements.

System Alert Window (Display Over Other Apps): Required to immediately draw the secure PIN pad interface directly over the targeted app when launched.
Foreground Service: Enables the local detection engine to persist reliably in device memory and prevent unexpected termination by operating system optimization routines.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your 4-digit or 6-digit PIN is never stored in plain text. PIN credentials are cryptographically hashed and safeguarded locally using Android’s secure internal storage. Because no data leaves your phone, Nordix App cannot view, reset, or recover your PIN remotely. However, during the initial setup of your Nordix Lock, you will be prompted to create a Recovery PIN. This allows you to easily reset your Master PIN if you ever forget it.

5. Third-Party Libraries & Tracking

Nordix Lock does not contain advertising SDKs, analytical trackers, user fingerprinting services, or external analytics frameworks. The application works completely offline without network dependencies.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect technical updates or compliance adjustments. Any revisions will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
